The Global Leadership Network is a project of its individual and organizational founding members from around the world. Our leadership structure allows for both member empowerment and sound operational effectiveness. Local member organizations provide us with the legal non-profit status needed for operations and fundraising.

mehjabeen MEHJABEEN ABIDI HABIB, Academic Researcher, Pakistan.  Interested in the field of human ecology, which explores the linkages between human and natural systems. Her Ph.D. research on ecological resilience is based in Pakistan at the Government College Lahore and is linked through a fellowship with Oxford University. (Download longer bio)
susan SUSAN ANDREWS, Founder Future Vision Ecological Park, Brazil.  Founded the Ecological Park to be  a reference for physical health, economic self-sufficiency, artistic creativity, mental expansion and spiritual peace — a vision of the future. The Ecological Park is an “ecovillage” or rural development center based on a new humanistic vision of maximum utilization of human and natural resources, cooperation and harmony with nature. THAIS CORRAL, Co-Chair of the Global Leadership Network, Brazil.
Thais is a global and local multi-sector social entrepreneur, communication specialist and leadership educator. She founded a media network, including 400 women’s radio programs that promote social change throughout Brazil. RIANE EISLER, President, The Center for Partnership Studies, USA. Her 1995 Center for Partnership Studies study, Women, Men, and the Global Quality of Life, documents the strong correlation between the status of women and the general quality of a nation’s life, based on statistical data from 89 nations. MARI FITZDUFF, Director, International Coexistence and Conflict Masters Program, Brandeis University. Committed to developing cross-sector leadership to prevent, manage and resolve inter-communal conflict. Previously Director of UNU/INCORE, the United Nations University based in Derry/Londonderry, and, from 1990-1997, the director of a key conflict resolution center in Northern Ireland. ALAIN GAUTHIER, Executive Director, Core Leadership Development, France. Worked globally with approximately two hundred senior teams and groups in a wide variety of organizations. ALEXANDER GRASHOW, Cofounder of the Bridging Leadership Program. Worked with partners in Southeast Asia, Southern Africa, Latin America and the United States to develop the Bridging Leadership Program that brings diverse groups together in collaboration. Currently working with the Global Leadership Initiative (GLI) to catalyze learning laboratories on critical global issues.

His unique perspective, blending not only his business and education perspective but also his spiritual practice, Dr. Inouye has helped the Foundation to create a paradigm of holistic human development viewed through the lens of service. KATSUJI IMATA, Founder and Co-Director, CSO Network Japan, Tokyo. CSONJ conducts research, and gathers and disseminates information on CSOs (civil society organizations) that work globally on issues of international cooperation, promoting cooperation among different stakeholders, and engaging the public in global issues. He founded and directed the Japan-U.S. Community Education and Exchange, launching nonprofit internship and fellowship programs for young leaders and nonprofit professionals from Japan and the U.S.
ADAM KAHANE, Global Leadership Initiative, USA. Canadian-born resident of Boston and Cape Town (South Africa). Works as a convener and facilitator of tri-sector, multi-stakeholder groups – local, national, and global. MAHYUDIN OMAR, Director of MKHR Network, Malaysia. Director of a training and management development company, he was formerly the Regional Director of Human Resources for Scott Paper/ Kimberly Clark Corporation and the Head of Human Resource of PROTON, Malaysia’s national car manufacturer. Prior to that, he was Director of the National Productivity Corporation, the training institute of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry of the Government of Malaysia.
KHADIJAH ROHANI MOHD YUNUS, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Internationalization, Sultan Idris University, Malaysia. Former Dean of the School of Education, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Prof. Rohani pioneered the field of special education in her country, working in conjunction with United Nations and UNICEF. Her current focus entails linking with universities in the US, Europe and other Asian countries. She is the first and only woman to hold such an esteemed University position in Malaysia.

ALOK SINGH, former Coordinator, Pioneers of Change, London. Leadership trainer and consultant who has developed new models of collaborative, cross-border leadership. GACHI TAPIA, Director, Foundation for Democratic Change, Buenos Aires. Mediator of private and social conflicts in Latin America and a veteran trainer who brings new leadership skills into the public and social sectors. Works extensively facilitating public dialogues to promote a participatory culture for managing public conflicts and building consensus for designing social policies. Highly experienced in the design of global leadership courses. WILLIAM URY, Co-Founder, Harvard Program on Negotiation. Internationally renowned writer (Getting to Yes, The Third Side), anthropologist and negotiation trainer who works with leaders to develop “third side” strategies that can defuse conflict and strengthen community.
